No. You do not have to be a Christian to receive counseling services. Our therapists will only integrate Christian truths when desired by the client.

Our therapists on staff are followers of Jesus and subscribe to the Crossroads Church Statement of Faith. They are secular trained professional psychotherapists and licensed through the Board of Behavioral Health and Sciences of California. They only integrate Christian truths when desired by the client. Overall, they utilize evidence based theoretical perspectives. Therapists will only introduce a spiritual element once requested by the client or once they are given the choice and verbally consent. Ultimately clients must request that a spiritual element be included as part of the counseling.
Pastoral counselors are typically pastoral or lay counselors associated with a church or organization. Their primary purpose is to address faith and spiritual well-being. They utilize biblical principles as their foundation.
